Retro Messenger is a C++ based messenger application focused on privacy and ease of use. It allows users to chat to multiple peers and send files up to 12mb, with their messages and interactions existing only in memory, alleviating worries of database breaches. Retro Messenger also does not include ads, data tracking or annoying subscriptions. It simply exists to be a simple tool for those who care about their privacy and are tired of unsecured, unreliable services.

Install instructions
The zipped folder can be downloaded and unzipped. To reduce file size, the 'music' folder can be deleted (though this will disable the in-application music options). From there an account can be created and you can start chatting.
